Daniele Rose Photography Blog- Ventura County Newborn & Family Photographer bio picture

  • I believe in happy families, dinners together,
    and that when it comes right down to it,
    the little things are really the big things.

    In the whirlwind of parenthood, from the
    sleepless newborn nights to the busy days
    of scraped knees and Band-Aids,
    your memories are the only things
    that last. Revel in them.

Fall {Ventura County Child Photographer}

Today officially feels like fall to me.  The weather is a little bit cooler, kids have started back to school, and my garden is just about finished.  I’m excited for the change in season and fall is my favorite time of year.  The color palate of these photos that I took at the amazing Jinky Art workshop over the weekend remind me of fall in Southern California and I adore them.  Barb is a complete inspiration and I can’t say enough positive things about her.  I’ll be sharing more images from the workshop in the coming weeks.

I have been beyond busy lately and have a big project in the works that I will be announcing very soon!  I’m completely thrilled about it and if you would like to be in the know be sure to ‘like’ the Daniele Rose Photography Facebook page.  I’ll be talking about it there first.

If you are a client who is waiting for your sneak peek I appreciate your patience!  I’m getting caught up from my trip and will be blogging recent sessions soon.  All galleries will be complete within the normal time frame, so no delays there.

Finally, my calendar for the rest of the year is almost completely booked.  I know…crazy!  Believe me, I double checked.  If you would like to have portraits taken in time for the holidays this year please contact me as soon as possible to reserve your session.

Toddling Along {Ventura Child Photographer}

There is something so sweet and so perfect about the way that early toddling is conveyed in a still image.  First birthday sessions are up there at the top of my list of ‘favorites’ for that very reason.  First steps are precious and should always be captured.

This adorable little toddler and her family were all smiles and laughs during our session at Hartley Botanica, and I had a great time capturing her cruising around the gardens.  I think she had fun too!

This sweet family purchased a gift certificate that I donated to a silent auction at  “Spanish Nights” –a fund raiser put on by the National Charity League Juniors of Ventura County.  Proceeds from Spanish Nights benefited the Children’s Cancer and Blood Diseases program, a joint venture between The Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Diseases, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Ventura County Medical Center.  This is such a worthy cause and childhood cancer research and treatment are something that I feel very strongly about,  and love to donate to whenever possible.  Thank you guys so much for bidding on my gift certificate and supporting this cause!  I hope that you love your images.  There are *plenty* more to come!!

Sleeping Beauty •Ventura Newborn Photographer•

Maybe its because I’ve been reading Sleeping Beauty to my kiddos 5+ times a day, but that name just seems to perfectly suit this precious little one.  Not a sneak peek since her mommy has already seen her gallery, however, she is just too cute not to share!

When this is the first image you take (when you’re just metering and checking your settings), you know you’re in for a treat.

Ventura County Maternity Photographs

I’ll be out of the office this week for a little vacation time with my family.  All emails and inquiries will be replied to promptly when I return.  Once I’m back I’ll be posting more from this lovely session, as well as announcing the remaining dates that I have open for fall.  If you’re thinking about having holiday family portraits taken, now is the time to book.  I only have a handful of dates remaining this year.  Have a great week!

Playful {Ventura Family Photographer}

This session was supposed to take place at the beach, but do to the unseasonal weather we’ve been having in So Cal, we opted to skip the foggy coast and headed to a local park.  I’m so glad we did!  These two little dolls really seemed to enjoy themselves and I have to say that mom and dad were exceptionally fun to work with.  They were so carefree and playful.  I think that is the most important thing parents can do to help with their photos.  Just relax and have fun!  Kids are smart and if parents are tense then kids will be too.  Thankfully we didn’t have to worry about anybody being uptight during these photos, and I think the results will attest to that!

Sloane…you just might win the award for the bluest eyes ever.  Remi…you’re killing me with those cheeks.  And the arm rolls, oh my goodness!  So cute!

I think my favorite part about being a photographer is being able to freeze time.  Childhood is so precious and so fleeting, and children change in the blink of an eye.  I get to preserve memories that might otherwise be lost, and I think that is amazing.

To the *W* family…I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!  Your girls are adorable and I hope that these will help you to always remeber just how small and how sweet that they are at this very moment in time.
