2015 Mini Session Dates Announced!

Although it still feels like summer here in California, Fall is here!  Bring on the cooler days, cozy sweaters, and pumpkin spice lattes!!

I’ve been receiving lots of inquiries asking about Mini Sessions, so here are the deets.  These limited availability sessions will be held the first weekend in October and are perfect for family photos for holiday cards, updated images of the kids, or even a quick maternity session.

This year I’ll be offering two mini session dates…

* Saturday, October 3rd (Morning Sessions) at a park in Camarillo.  The park is gorgeous and has a beautiful tree-lined path that is a fantastic backdrop for portraits–one of my absolute favorite spots!

* Sunday, October 4th (Morning Sessions) at a botanical garden near Camarillo.  This garden is a hidden gem with lots of greenery, flowering plants, and beautiful nooks and alcoves.

Minis are 20 minute sessions, yielding 10-15 fully edited, high resolution images delivered via download–yours to print as you wish.  Detailed printing instructions and lab recommendations will be included.  You’ll also receive 20% off of additional prints and products, should you choose to order them.

You can include the entire family (up to five people) or just the kids…completely up to you!  In case of rain the make-up dates will be October 17th & 18th.

Email hello@danielerosephotography.com with your preferred location and I’ll let you know what time slots are still available.  These sessions fill quickly every year, so don’t wait or they’ll be gone!

Hope to see you soon!
Daniele

{A Good Year…} Ventura Photographer

I thought I’d post a few of my absolute favorite images from 2009 as a little recap.  I am truly thankful to be able to capture these fleeting moments for my clients, many of whom become good friends of mine.  Thank you to each and every one of you who have supported Daniele Rose Photography.  There are going to be a lot of exciting changes in the year ahead and I’m looking forward to the start of another good year!

{My Own} Camarillo Children’s Photographer

In a pathetically feeble attempt at gardening I recently planted flowers in the big copper pot that sits on my porch.  I love this copper pot (and anything copper, really) but sadly it is quite neglected and whatever tries to live in it is usually dead within a month…two at most.  I would like to be a gardener, and one day when I have more time it will definitely be a hobby I pursue, but for now I’ll stick to changing out the flowers in my big copper pot four times a year.

I had a helper this time.  Ryan loves to garden.  The outdoors is in his blood.  When his dad mows our lawn he follows him closely wielding his little plastic bubble mower.  He even has his own gardening gloves (see below).  Maybe I’ll just teach him how to garden (which I guess will mean that I’ll have to learn myself!) and then enjoy the fruits of his labor.  But for now,  its just nice to spend time outside together.

For fall…
