An ideal community for families that is north of Los Angeles and just south of Camarillo, Thousand Oaks is brimming with rolling hills and hiking trails.

Many picturesque photo locations can be found tucked away in the hills.  Nearly any hiking trail will have beautiful views of landscapes dotted with mature oak trees.  Typically the hills are a beautiful soft green in the spring, and a golden yellow in the summer and fall months.  The later months of  the year can be warm, so optimal times of the day for photo session times are early morning and late afternoon.

Just a few of my favorite  photo session locations in Thousand Oaks are Wildwood Park, Peter Strauss Ranch, and Conejo Valley Botanic Garden.
